I’ve always been a very picky coffee drinker. I wanted that perfect cup—full of flavor, smooth, and worth savoring to the last drop. So, I went on a hunt for the best beans and teamed up with a local roaster who knew exactly how to make them shine. That’s how 1703 Coffee Company was born. The number 1703 isn’t random, it is the elevation of Signal Mountain, our home and inspiration. Just like the mountain stands tall above the valley, we aim for our coffee to rise above the rest, crafted with care, rooted in place, and full character.
Our medium roast is where it all started—a smooth, balanced blend with hints of dark chocolate, roasted hazelnut, burnt marshmallow, and Bing cherry.
Our dark roast is bold and comforting, with notes of sweet pipe tobacco, baker’s chocolate, roasted walnuts, and molasses.
Our cold brew? It’s brewed cold from start to finish for a refreshingly smooth iced coffee you’ll want every day.
And our espresso—crafted from 80% washed and 20% natural beans—is roasted to perfection so it’s just as incredible on its own as it is in a latte.
